I know Swfants had been really inactive around here but due to the fact that I am here now proves that they haven't been around for quite some time. My goal here is to curb the rampant spam by updating the automoderator configuration so the modqueue doesn't look like this. Some of the changes are simple. Links are now hardline only allowed from swfchan.com, swfchan.net, and swfchan.org. Some are a little more complex and could probably be done better with more thought: (I'm open to suggestions in this thread!) Self posts now must be questions. (eg. Is Swfchan down?) They may not contain links of any kind and should include a question mark in the title. Self posts aren't allowed at all. If your post gets removed and you think it shouldn't have, hit me up through modmail. Attempting to post from a known spam domain will result in a ban. Automod now removes content not from swfchan Being a spam account flooding the sub will probably get you IP banned from reddit. Posting loli/shota now has restrictions of its own. With the amount of non-illegal subreddits being quarantined or outright banned recently, we can't take very many chances despite this sub's relatively small subscriber count. If you post anything with 'loli' or a selection of hidden but obvious words your post will be removed. I'm not one to permaban lightly so you probably won't get one here. I'd like to ask the other people here to remain vigilant and report any illegal content to keep this portal safe. The modqueue is already chock full of posts breaking this rule, so this is just in place to hopefully reduce that. I don't have an infinite amount of time to browse reddit and I especially don't have an infinite amount of time to look at internet porn to decide if it's against the law or not. This means that a lot of actions are going to go through automoderator. If your post gets removed and you think it's okay, modmail me with a link to your post and I'll get it sorted as soon as I can. This subreddit was previously under the control of swfchan's staff. If they want to have this subreddit back I'll happily give it to them, they should just contact me through modmail using one of the two accounts that were moderators here before I took over. I didn't really ask them if I could be a mod, I got it through reddit themselves so I really hope they aren't pissed off at me.
