Setting flashplayer to "always active" This video shows how to make your browser stop complaining that flashplayer is outdated and not even giving you the option to set it to "always active". this can break alot of games and pages. So please see the video, that is not my video btw just some other helpful person. I set Flashplayer's version # to 33, because it stops at 32 so, why not? no more complaints. no more "activate flash for swfchan.org, remember this setting" every time you restart your browser. just smooth sailing. Oh btw after following this video, please close opena nd close and open your browser again to save the changes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUJMZbNR0d0 for installing flashplayer, you'll need a downgraded oldversion of a webbrowser before autoupdates were mandatory and before they decided to kill flash (which was before they announced it (Think "2018")). you can get the browser from oldversion.com you can get the plugin by going to https://web.archive.org/web/20190614183933/https: //helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-p layer-versions.html yes you have to download the large archive which contains the standalone flashplayer and the full offline installer for your operating system. it should be like 200 to 500 MB. the 1 to 100 MB ones are just the online installer which will not work because it'll auto update to bricked 32 during install. make sure to go OFF THE INTERNET DISCONNECT before running the offline installer. do not install flashplayer's auto updater. and after install search for the flash install folder and delete the updater! if you are using windows 10, there are ways to unbrick it, but I suggest not using windows 10. I suggest pulling all your files off to a backup external drive, going and buying a refurbished windows 7 machine and loading everything on there. I still can't believe so many people actually use windows 10. We were supposed to hold out and reject it like we did with vista! remember? remember how that got us windows 7 which was like a superior version of XP? instead of the shite that was Vista? yeah. if people had just done the same thing again with 10 we'd be looking at a more user friendly Windows 11 (that doesn't force updates and disable flashplayer and spy on you) by now. hey, we can still do that. as I said get a windows 7 machine. if enough people abandon 10 microsoftie will get the message. it's never too late. |
