Would it be possible to make the backlinks which appear in the "Quoting:" (copied as "getSpecies()" what?) dialogue to show a preview? That's the one problem I have when participating in threads that are really long, since there's no "quick reply" box I either use a notepad or triple check those quote links. |

Me neither, but as long as clicking the quote link doesn't automatically bring up the quick reply box I don't mind if it's added. |

They are based on some JavaScript timestamp wonkiness I vaguely remember coding many years ago, if you look again the time values are probably back to normal by now right? |

Works for me but it could be a daylight savings time issue or just an issue with timezones in general. Or even a plugin blocking the script. It was pretty hastily put together, it's on the todo list of things that needs fixing. |

Oh that, it's because the pages aren't static on swfchan. If something changes in the include header/tail of the html, or if for example the "age" number gets updated (which happens often for all threads), the system thinks someone has posted in the thread. It's like this because I built the thing for 4chan and I didn't really think about it when I made this board. I've intended to fix the issue for years but the job keeps being prioritized away. |

I went ahead and hid all the swfchan threads on the lists where threads are sorted by the time they were last updated. It's a decent workaround until the underlying cause is fixed, now /f/'s threads can be seen clearly again. |
