What's interesting is that this time 4chan removed /r/ from both the front page and the rules page, and http://boards.4chan.org/r/ gives a "File not found." message. But /f/ is still mentioned on both the front page and the rules page, and there's no 404 message when visiting https://boards.4chan.org/f/ You'd think that if they bother spending time on removing /r/ from the front page and rules page they would also remove /f/ while they are at it. Could this mean that there is some little thought in the back of their heads to bring back /f/ one day...?
>>108816 I think it just shows how little thought the administration puts in anything these days. They can't be bothered to do basically anything unless a SJW lynch mob is attached to it.
And even if they brought back /f/, it would only be forced with a frontend of ruffle. The SWF style /f/ we know will just never be again ;_;
>>108816 The first paragraph of >>108831 sums it pretty well. /f/ was removed because of negligence. /r/ was removed because of fear.
Although the unmentioned, even bigger issue if /f/ were to be brought back is that all the users left. The damage had already been done. It just wouldn't be the same /f/. Also, do you really want to return to a site that disrespects you in such a manner?
