I tried watching City the Animation but I didn't like it. My expectations were very high due to Nichijou but after 2 eps only one joke landed with me so I never watched ep 3 to 13. I hated the whole boy-wears-a-skirt gag in ep 1, bad first impression.
Did I quit too soon? Does the series become gold later? Had heard good things of City in manga format prior to the animation coming out, but that added to my disappointment.
