Good work, but doesn't a nude edit already exist?

what makes the flash so large? is it the audio?

i don't think it's the audio but rather that -8 used a ton of separate vectors/objects. maybe even repeats. in the optimized flash someone combined stuff and recycled them.
maybe -8 had a bunch of unnecessary points in each line that could be removed as well. for example: a curved line can consist of 1000 points making up several small straight lines to give the illusion of a curved line, or it can be 4 points points that together make up the curved line (bézier curve, 2 points for start and end and 2 points to control curvature). both look the same but the one with 1000 points takes up a lot more bytes. maybe -8 just used a software that recorded way too many points when he drew.

author of the optimized flash explains it here: http://swfchan.net/38/TKXY7E5.shtml#54581
-8 repeated vector data several times. the optimized version recycle them (put them in a sprite and referenced the sprite instead of repeating the vector data).

Almost spat out my beer when I saw R-life had put a dance in based on this; didn't do a bad job either.

I looked at one of the seek/pause versions of the ghost flash and it looks like, aside from the fancy control stuff, it just has the normal (optimized, partial nude edit version specifically) embedded in it. Would it theoretically be possible to embed THIS version instead?
